Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion. Accessibility is not a feature we bolted on — it is part of whether the site works at all.
The standard we aim at
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and used as the benchmark by accessibility legislation in the EU, the UK and the United States.
We describe our current status as partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and we know of specific areas that do not yet. We would rather tell you exactly where we fall short than claim a clean bill of health.
What we have done
- A “skip to content” link at the top of every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, so you can always see where you are.
- A logical heading structure on each page, with a single H1 and properly nested subheadings.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images; decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- Form fields with real, associated labels rather than placeholder text doing the job of a label.
- Colour combinations chosen to meet the AA contrast ratio for body text.
- Layouts built to reflow on small screens and to survive text being enlarged to 200%.
- The homepage headline animation is disabled automatically for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.
- Fonts served from our own server, so pages render predictably even on restricted networks.
- FAQ answers built as native expand-and-collapse elements, which work without JavaScript.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- Animated reveals on scroll. Sections on the homepage fade in as you scroll. Content remains readable and reachable, but the effect does not yet fully respect a reduced-motion preference throughout the page.
- The category gallery on the homepage opens panels on hover as well as on click. It is operable by keyboard and by tap, but the interaction pattern is not ideal for screen reader users.
- Brand and platform logos are supplied to us as images by their owners. Where a logo is purely decorative alongside a text label we mark it as such; text baked into a supplied logo image cannot be resized independently.
- PDF documents linked from brand sites are produced by third parties and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will provide the content in another format.
If something does not work for you
If you hit a barrier on this site — anything you cannot read, reach or operate — please tell us. We will fix it where we can, and in the meantime we will get you the information another way: by email, over the phone, or in whatever format suits you.

How this was assessed
This statement is based on a self-assessment of the site carried out by the team that builds it, reviewing pages against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria. It has not been verified by an independent third-party accessibility auditor. If we commission a formal audit, we will say so here and publish what it found.
Scope
This statement applies to the website published at topgeargt.com. It does not cover third-party websites we link to — brand sites, retail platforms or the Abbas Bin Haider Group site — each of which publishes its own accessibility position.
Review
This statement was prepared on 25 August 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site changes materially.
